  1. Create a myNSFAS Account
    • Visit the NSFAS website: www.nsfas.org.za.
    • Click on the “myNSFAS” tab and register for an account.
    • Provide your personal details, including a valid email address and cellphone number.
    • Create a password and complete the registration process.
  2. Log In and Apply
    • Log in to your myNSFAS account using your registered email address and password.
    • Click on the “Apply” tab to start your application.

Self-Sufficient Applicants (Employed)

Important Notes

  • Your application will NOT be considered if:
    • You have already applied on the NSFAS website and have an application reference number.
    • You already have NSFAS funding for 2025.
    • You already hold an undergraduate degree/diploma or postgraduate degree.
    • You are undertaking postgraduate studies not listed on the NSFAS website.
    • You are not applying for admission to a public university or TVET college.
