✔ You are a South African citizen.
✔ Your total household income is below R350,000 per year.
✔ You are applying to study at a public university or TVET college.
✔ If you are already registered at a public institution, your household income must be below R122,000 per year.
NSFAS provides comprehensive financial support, covering the following:
Tuition Fees – The full cost of your approved course, paid directly to the institution.
Accommodation – Housing costs covered based on NSFAS-approved rates.
Study Materials – A book and learning materials allowance.
Travel Allowance – Transport costs for students living far from campus.
Meal Allowance – Monthly food allowance for students living on or near campus.

Click on “myNSFAS” and create an account.
Use a valid email address and cellphone number (ensure these are accessible at all times).
Log in to your myNSFAS account.
Click on “Apply” and complete the application form.
Provide your personal, academic, and financial details.

You will need to submit certified copies of the following documents (not older than 3 months):
Your South African ID or birth certificate
Proof of household income (for parents or guardians, if applicable)
Your latest academic results
Proof of disability (if applicable)

Your application will not be considered if:
