What is NSFAS?

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is a government initiative under the Department of Higher Education and Training. It provides financial support to disadvantaged students who want to study at public universities or TVET colleges.

NSFAS has introduced a new and improved system that ensures each application is carefully reviewed to give all applicants a fair opportunity.

🔹 More NSFAS officials will be deployed to institutions to assist students with applications
