How to Update Your Information for the SRD R350 Grant Reapplication

If you need to update your personal details for the COVID-19 SRD R350 Grant, you can do so online. This includes correcting any incorrectly submitted information on the SRD website or updating your responses to the screening questions in your original SASSA application.

From July 1st, applicants can make these changes on the official SASSA website: srd.sassa.gov.za. If you need to update your screening questions for the April and May assessment periods, ensure you do so before July 7th.


How to Complete Your SASSA Reapplication

To reapply or reconfirm your SRD R350 grant, follow these steps:

1️⃣ Visit the SASSA website: srd.sassa.gov.za
2️⃣ Click on “Reconfirm your grant application”
3️⃣ Log in using your South African ID number and mobile number
4️⃣ Update any necessary information
5️⃣ Resubmit your application

📌 Important: All SRD R350 grant applicants must reconfirm or reapply every three months to continue receiving payments.


Who is Eligible for the R350 Grant?

To qualify for the SRD R350 Grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:

✅ South African Citizen, Refugee, Asylum Seeker, or Special Permit Holder
✅ Between 18 and 60 years old
✅ Not receiving any social grant (such as Child Support or Old Age Grant)
✅ Not contributing to or eligible for UIF (Unemployment Insurance Fund) payments
✅ Have no other financial support from any source


SASSA SRD R350 Appeals Deadline

If your SRD R350 Grant application was rejected, you have up to 90 days to lodge an appeal.

📅 The COVID-19 SRD R350 Grant has been extended until March 2023, so make sure you stay updated on your application status and payment dates.
